    Paul Daugerdas

    Paul Daugerdas is a highly esteemed consulting, law, and accounting professional. Born and raised in Wilmette, Illinois, he has forged a distinguished career, earning a reputation as a skilled and accomplished individual. Alongside his professional achievements, he has made a meaningful impact through his active engagement in various charitable endeavors. His pursuit of academic excellence commenced at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, where he graduated with honors in 1968. He continued his educational journey and attended De Paul University, where he attained notable accomplishments.

     

    In 1972, Daugerdas received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with honors from De Paul University's College of Commerce. Additionally, he obtained his CPA Certificate from the University of Illinois in the same year. Continuing his academic pursuits, he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from De Paul University's College of Law in 1974. Throughout his illustrious career, he assumed pivotal roles in esteemed financial, legal, and accounting organizations. He commenced his professional journey as a staff member at Arthur Andersen & Co., gradually progressing to the positions of manager and, ultimately, partner in 1984.

     

    From 1974 to 1994, Paul held various key positions, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations as a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions & Reorganizations Tax Specialty Team. Serving as the Head of the Central Region Financial Markets Team, he supervised tax and audit personnel involved in diverse financial markets, encompassing commodities, futures, stocks, bonds, swaps, and a wide range of over-the-counter financial instruments and products.

     

    Additionally, Paul led the Chicago Office "On Call" Team. He contributed his expertise as a member of the Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team during his tenure at Arthur Andersen & Co. In 1994, he joined the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner, assuming the Head of the Tax Department role and becoming an invaluable member of the Steering Committee.

     

    From 1999 to 2002, he served as a Shareholder/Partner at the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist, overseeing the Chicago office and co-directing the Tax Practice. Paul Daugerdas further demonstrated his business acumen as a member of the Management Advisory Committee during his tenure at Jenkens & Gilchrist.

     

    Throughout his distinguished career, Paul has left an indelible mark on the financial, legal, and accounting sectors. With his exceptional knowledge, skills, and commitment to philanthropy, he has made a lasting impact professionally and through his charitable endeavors.
